Flooded Basement Renovation In The GTA

This Flooded basement renovation in the GTA, was a previous client we had who’s basement we finished 4 years ago. He had an unfortunate situation happen where his basement got flooded 2 weeks prior, when Toronto had a massive rain storm and a lot of basements got flooded because the drainage system in some area couldn’t handle it and backed up. After this happened our client called us first to get and estimation. The basement floors and subfloors had to be removed. drywall 2 feet up from the ground had to be removed and disposed of. All the doors and baseboards also have to be removed.

After all the demo and drying of the basement was finished the client decided he also wanted to add a powder room and a second bedroom. We installed All new R + Dricore subfloors, premium 7mm vinyl flooring. We then installed baseboards, doors and casings. After tiling the washroom floors we painted the entire basement with Premium Benjamin Moore Regal Select Paints.  The job was a quick in and out job for a previous client. Hopefully he can enjoy his restored basement and that such and unpleasant situation does not happen to them again.
