This Small Bradford basement renovation started with a small demolition. The previous owners had framed some parts of the basement and added some insulation. This old framing and insulation was no good to us. After finishing the demolition we started the official framing part. The client wanted to have a bedroom/office with a closet. The rest of the space they wanted to be an open space where they can hang their tv and place a couch. They also wanted the furnace room and under the stairs to be used as storage and unfinished space. After roughing in the electrical we dry walled and plastered the basement. We then proceeded to prime and paint the ceilings with Premium Benjamin Moore Paints. The color the client chose was Wickham Gray HC-171 from Benjamin Moore. We then added Dricore subfloor, insulated foam bottom to keep the floor warmer for the client. They opted for a brown vinyl plank flooring. We installed pre hung 6 panel doors and then proceeded to install 5 inch beveled baseboards with a matching casings. For the stairs we had our flooring expert stain and install new premium oak stairs and a matching railing . We installed 4 inch LED pot lights and dimmer switches. This Bradford basement renovation was smaller then our usual projects but was still a pleasure to finish and the clients where very happy with the finished product.
